Attend any 4 questions.  Each question carries 25 marks
(Each answer should be of minimum 2 pages / of 300 words)

1.            Discuss the details of project development stages.
Answer : Introduction.
As a project manager you need to be very clear in your own mind what the project development stages are that you will have to go through. A good project manager will apply their management skills in a structured manner, requiring them to identify the times and circumstances that those skills and practices will need to be deployed and applied. This is no longer the black art that it was once perceived to be. All you need to do is understand what the main stages of project development are, applying the relevant skills to each stage in order to manage it



2.Write an essay on Project Planning.
Answer :  Project planning in teams is crucial at the beginning of a project but remains necessary throughout the whole life of the project.

Project planning is the single most important tool for ensuring that a project will be completed successfully. Without project planning it is very likely that a project will fail, even if the project has sufficient budget, excellent resources and an undefined deadline. This kind of projects would not be clearly defined, and will have many resources wasted and left unused while the project is blocked waiting for critical information or some task to be finished


3.Explain Project Control and evaluation.
Answer : Control relates to the watching over of the project and making adjustments as necessary. Evaluation has to do with obtaining data/information for analysis relating to project or process success or lack thereof. Both have to do with measuring progress toward project objectives and identifying and addressing deviations.

In every project there are many factors that must be controlled or evaluated. Some areas include:

·         scope
·         time
·         cost
·         quality


4.Explain the steps for conducting an effective Impact Analysis.

5.What is change Management? Explain.
Answer : Here are some rules for effective management of change. Managing organizational change will be more successful if you apply these simple principles. Achieving personal change will be more successful too if you use the same approach where relevant. Change management entails thoughtful planning and sensitive implementation, and above all, consultation with, and involvement of, the people affected by the changes. If you force change on people normally problems arise. Change must be realistic, achievable and measurable. These aspects are especially relevant to managing personal change. Before starting organizational change, ask yourself: What do we want to achieve with this change, why, and how will we know that the change has been achieved? Who is affected by this change, and how will they react to it? How








6.Describe the project areas in Open and distance learning management.
